Yasumi 2

The sire CHR Yasufuku 246T comes from the American breeder Ralph Valdez, one of the early Wagyu breeders outside Japan. Grandsire to 246T is the legendary 100% Tajima bull Yasufuku J930! He is considered the "greatest Wagyu bull" by Kenichi Ono, who described him as the most well-balanced Wagyu bull with the words "ultimate" and "perfect". Another ancestor is one of the leading foundation Tajima sires Kitateruyasu Doi J2810 Hongen. The dam of Yasumi 2 is the increasingly well-known Havel-Wagyu NAOMI, whose paternal grandsire is Fukutsuru J068. He combines Kikumi Doi and Yasutani Doi Tajima lines yet is trait leader for Milk and Rump fat so is associated with early finishing. Maternal grand-sire to Naomi is Itozurudoi TF151 and he combines Tajima Yasumi Doi with Fujiyoshi Dai 7 Itozakura and Kedaka Nishizuru to give impressive progeny. Maternal grand-dam to Naomi is Blackmore Choyotake W078 with Itomichi and Kikukuterushige TF150 breeding. Havel-Wagyu NAOMI impresses even by their appearance. She has an extremely large frame, depth in the body, a perfect pelvis, is very fertile and has a gentle mind. She is now one of the largest fullblood Wagyu cows in Europe with a weight of 1.760 lb and passes on these positive qualities to her offspring. Yasumi 2's genetic predispositions promise that the offspring will have excellent marbling characteristics, high milk yield, good growth and calving ease, making it particularly suitable for mating heifers.
